Trading Remote connects your phone to MetaTrader 5. Open trades, close positions and run batches of orders from the app. Your MT5 terminal places every order.
The Connector EA runs inside your own MT5 terminal. The app never sees your broker password.
Pick a symbol, choose how many orders and how big, then tap Buy or Sell.
Your order goes to your Trading Remote account. Only you can read it, because you sign in with your own email and password.
The EA picks up the order, checks your free margin, and places it with your broker. Results show in the app straight away.
You only do this once. You need MetaTrader 5 on a computer and the Trading Remote app on your phone.
Open Trading Remote on your phone and tap Create an account. Use an email and a password you'll remember, because the EA needs the same ones.
Download TradingRemote.zip and unzip it. Inside is one file, TradingRemote.ex5.
In MT5, open the data folder:
File→Open Data Folder
Open MQL5→Experts and paste TradingRemote.ex5 there. Then go back to MT5. In the Navigator panel, right-click Expert Advisors and click Refresh.
Drag TradingRemote from the Navigator onto any one chart. Any symbol works. In the window that opens:
Common tab: tick Allow Algo Trading and Allow DLL imports. The EA uses Windows' own internet connection, and MT5 calls that a DLL import.
Inputs tab: enter the email and password from step 1.
Click OK, then make sure the Algo Trading button on the MT5 toolbar is switched on (green).
MT5's Experts tab (at the bottom of the screen) should now show:
Sign in to the app with the same email and password. Your MT5 account appears in the list. Tap it and you're ready to trade.
Drag the EA onto the chart again. In the Common tab, tick Allow DLL imports before you click OK. The EA needs it to reach the internet.
To turn it on for every EA, go to Tools → Options → Expert Advisors and tick Allow DLL imports.
The EA has to use exactly the same email and password as the app. Right-click the chart, choose Expert list, select TradingRemote, and fix them in the Inputs tab.
If you signed in to the app with Google, set a Connector EA password in the app first. Then use your Google email and that password.
Check the MT5 Experts tab for the "publishing account" line. If it isn't there, read the line above it, which says what went wrong. Make sure you're signed in to the app with the same email you typed into the EA.
The EA only works while MT5 is open and connected. If MT5 hasn't checked in for 15 seconds, the app shows the account as offline. To trade around the clock, run MT5 on a VPS or a computer that stays on.
Make sure the Algo Trading button on the MT5 toolbar is green, and that Allow Algo Trading is ticked in the EA's Common tab. The market also has to be open, and you need enough free margin. The EA checks your margin before every order and stops when it runs out.
Download the EA and set it up in about five minutes.
